Niantic Promises Legendary Pokémon In 'Pokémon GO' This Year quoting : "Forbes"

referring to Starting with 100 Gen 2 Pokémon:Minus seven Gen 2 babies that debuted in December, so they weren't new when Gen 2 arrived. And every damn Pokémon should hatch from eggs, outside of the most common ones who are a waste of space. I mean, Gen 2 was supposed to dump 100 new Pokémon into Pokémon GO, which should be a ton of new stuff to catch and hatch. Minus 12 Gen 2 Pokémon that do not hatch from eggs at all, and can only be found in the wild, as pointed out by /r/TheSilphRoad. Evolution items should have their drop rates dramatically adjusted.

Niantic Promises Legendary Pokémon In 'Pokémon GO' This Year
Legendary Pokémon have been on the table since the beginning, but we haven't heard much about how they'll be integrated. No, it isn't the wondrous real world event that we were promised in that original trailer. Like Paul Tassi, I agree that that LegendaryPokémon should be tied to regular old quests of the sort we see in all sorts of other games. NianticIt's not much, but Niantic CEO John Hanke has given Pokémon GO players at least some kind of indication of when legendary Pokémon will be coming to the mobile game: sometime before the end of the year, he told the German edition of Wired, via Polygon. Niantic, as a company, is deeply uninterested in major features like this that aren't location based, and any sort of legendary Pokémon event tied to real world locations is going to be some combination of a logistical nightmare and genuinely dangerous.
