Fortunately, one Reddit user has found a way to temporarily bypass the speed limit restriction long enough to collect items from PokeStops. During this time players can spin PokeStops and collect items regardless of what speed they are traveling at. In order to solve the problem, Niantic eventually added a speed limit restriction that thwarted the Pokemon GO experience for anyone who was traveling 30 mph or faster. Only time will tell if Niantic will find a way to stop players from using this trick in the future. Ever since Pokemon GO was first created, Niantic was frantically trying to address the many issues that seemed to plague the incredibly popular mobile game at launch.

Thanks to the speed limit, not only do Pokemon automatically despawn from Pokemon Go's map when traveling above the game's speed limit, the game also prevents players from obtaining items from PokeStops. The speed limit was enacted after multiple reports of car accidents caused by drivers distracted by Pokemon Go. The key to this trick is getting Pokemon Go to load, as this is when the game's speed limit stops working. Earlier this week, a Redditor found a way to "bypass" the speed limit to spin PokeStops while driving. Several months ago, Pokemon Go instituted a "speed limit" to prevent players from playing the game while traveling above 30 miles per hour.

However, Pokemon GO player and Reddit user CatFrogArts has discovered a trick in the game that allows players to bypass its speed limit restrictions. When traveling as the passenger in a car, Pokemon GO players usually aren't able to collect items from PokeStops due to the game's speed limit restrictions. Apparently, this trick works because players' speed isn't taken into account when the game is loading. This speed limit trick could tempt players that are driving their car to try to collect items from PokeStops as well, which could result in a serious accident. The game warns players not to play Pokemon GO while driving, and restricts elements of gameplay when players reach certain speeds.
