The Adventure Week event will run from 1 p.m. PT May 18 to 1 p.m. PT May 25. To celebrate, developer Niantic will launch an "Adventure Week" event in the game May 18. This event also includes increased encounter rates for uncommon Rock-type Pokemon like Aerodactyl, Onix and Sudowoodo. Finally, for the duration of this event, players will receive more items from every PokeStop they visit. Pokemon Go players have now traveled more than 15.8 billion kilometers since the popular mobile game launched last July.
