Pokémon obtained with unofficial programs are now designated with glaring red marks, something that is proving hard to remove. Of course, this kind of workaround only works for certain Pokémon — anyone with a hacked Farfetch'd is out of luck, for example. "Glad to see they fixed this oversight shortly after getting reported rather then days later," wrote one user, a common sentiment.

Pokémon Go's big gym revamp is rolling out to both iOS and android now, and the patch notes show that there's more to this update than multiplayer. The update's patch notes point out that players can now search through their Pokémon collections in order to find different monsters more quickly.
