Pokemon Go players have discovered an image that seemingly confirms the subject of October's Community Day event. A Redditor discovered an image of Beldum framed by the familiar Pokemon Go Community Day logo tucked away on Pokemon Go's webpage.Beldum is a Steel-Type Pokemon that eventually evolves into Metagross, the most powerful Steel-Type Pokemon currently in the game. Community Day is a monthly mini-event that typically takes place for a three hour window one weekend day a month. Pokemon Go picks a single Pokemon as the subject of that month's Community Day event and has that Pokemon appear much more frequently during the three hour event. September's Community Day is centered around Chikorita, one of the Starter Pokemon from Pokemon Gold and Silver.

Now that September's Pokemon Go Community Day is behind us, Niantic has shared the first details on next month's event. October's Community Day is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 21, and this time, the featured Pokemon will be Beldum, the first form of the powerful Steel/Psychic-type Metagross. In addition to increased Beldum spawns, October's Community Day will offer a couple of in-game bonuses throughout its duration. As usual, Lure modules will also last longer if they're activated during the Community Day, for three hours rather than their usual 30 minutes. You might expect October's Pokemon of choice to be something spooktacular - and there are plenty of ghost type Pokemon to choose from - but some investigating from intrepid fans spotted an image from the Pokemon GO website they believe confirms Bedlum as a Community Day Pokemon. And, earlier in the year, The Silph Road produced another article predicting who would turn up on each day, saying Slakoth would would be next, so who knows?
