As it stated in The game is said to have the Pope's blessingPublished 3:49 PM, October 29, 2018MANILA, Philippines - The massive success of mobile augmented reality (AR) game Pokemon Go has inspired the creation of numerous copies. Some copies have incorporated existing intellectual properties, such as Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters, into Pokemon Go's explore and collect gameplay. Instead, players embark on a spiritual journey centered around the Catholic religion in the faith-based mobile game called Follow JC Go! According to the BBC, players "collect" the characters they encounter by correctly answering the questions about the Catholic religion. It was developed shortly after the launch of Pokemon Go by Catholic Evangelical group Fundación Ramón Pané who wanted to reach players of all ages about their faith.

'Pokemon Go' Accidentally Brings Back the Most Powerful Version of Mewtwo

Earlier this year, Pokemon Go announced that Mewtwo would no longer have the move Shadow Ball as part of its moveset. Developers seemed to quick make a hotfix shortly after it was discovered by players, as Shadow Ball Mewtwo is now unavailable as of press time. Coincidentally, Shadow Ball Mewtwo is one of the ideal Pokemon to use when fighting Giratina, the Ghost/Dragon-Type Legendary Pokemon being added to the game as part of Pokemon Go's Halloween event. Mewtwo is leaving Pokemon Go's Raid Boss pool later today, so players only have a very short window to catch this powerful Legendary Pokemon if they haven't already. We'll have continued coverage on Pokemon Go's other Halloween surprises in the days to come, so stay tuned for more news!

This 'Pokemon Go' clone lets you collect Catholic saints and learn biblical lessons

As it stated in SALT LAKE CITY — There's a new augmented reality video game akin to "Pokemon Go" that lets players collect saints and notable religious figures on the go, the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera reports. The new game "Follow JC Go" allows players to roam around town in search of saints and Biblical figures. "Never has the Church had a project like this … this is the Catholic app with the most advanced technology there is," said Argentinian Ricardo Grzona, executive director of the Foundation Ramon Pane. Big difference: Though "Pokemon Go" inspired the game, it doesn't include any gyms for players to train their saints. He reportedly said the game will help the Catholic Church connect with a younger generation.

Halloween Pikachu Returns to 'Pokemon Go'

The Witch Hat-wearing Pikachu is now appearing in Pokemon Go as part of the game's just started Halloween event. As with last year's event, Witch Hat Pikachu also has a Shiny variant. In addition to the Witch Hat Pikachu and Holiday Hat Pikachu, players have also found Party Cap Pikachu, Summer Wear Pikachu, Ash Cap Pikachu, and Lightning Bolt Hat Pikachu. Of course, the Halloween Pikachu is just a small part of Pokemon Go's big event. The game also added several new "Gen 4" Pokemon to the game for Halloween, including the Legendary Pokemon Giratina.
