Pokémon Go has three new regional exclusives

As it stated in Scores of Pokémon enthusiasts lined the streets near the Topeka Zoo Saturday morning to get a chance to test out some of the newest Nintendo Switch games. Nintendo is touring the country allowing folks to try out the new Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! "I cannot believe the fan support here, we've had people who've driven several hours to be here with us and are just so thankful that everyone's come out to celebrate these two new Pokémon games." Back in 1998, Nintendo chose Topeka as the site for the national debut for a series of Pokémon games.

Pokémon Go has three new regional exclusives

The first Gen 4 Pokémon arrived yesterday afternoon in Pokémon Go - and out of the 20-something new species, three will be particularly hard to find. These three species - Chatot, Carnivine, Pachirisu - are the game's latest regional exclusives and, after a few hours of confusion, players are now pretty certain where you'll need to head to find them. Everything points to it being a southern hemisphere regional with its availability overlapping the lower half off existing regional Corsola's zone. Mime has been given away worldwide through eggs and will soon get a baby form - unless this too becomes a regional exclusive. Pokémon Go's regional exclusives from previous generations are all detailed in Eurogamer's detailed Pokémon Go region exclusive guide.

as informed in And then that's not to mention the perpetually-active Kanto events of Pokémon Go, if I ever missed it for just a second. To be blunt then, returning players looking for a challenge will not find it in the first two hours of Pokémon Let's Go. Instead of the old system, you now earn different types of candy from Pokémon caught in the wild. Either way, wild battles, at least in my short time with Let's Go, are not missed. There's a new combo mechanic to catching wild Pokémon, whereby the more of the same Pokémon you catch in a row, the more Experience Points you get and also, the more chance you have of encountering a special, rare Pokémon in that area.
