as informed in Wave 1 includes just over 20 Pokemon, but not all of them can be found in regular encounters. To help players get a better understanding of Gen 4's basics, a member of The Silph Road community put together a very helpful visual guide detailing exactly how each of the new creatures can currently be obtained in Pokemon GO. As expected, there are a few who can only be obtained through egg hatches, Battle Raids, or evolutions at this point. Luckily, this weekend's Community Day will make it easier to hatch eggs, so many players will have a chance to acquire a few more Gen 4 creatures that way. A bonus in this week's release is the discovery of at least three new Shiny Pokemon. These creatures have a rare variant that boasts its own unique colour scheme. Although they do not boost a player's stat, and they are a fine addition to any trainer's Pokedex. This means they are popular with collectors, and it appears a few more will arrive this week. Currently, Pokemon Go has only introduced 24 out of the 107 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region and that includes evolutions.
