Pokémon Go players get Shedinja in upcoming bug-type event

Shedinja will be the reward of completing a field research challenge sometime next month, according to the game's Twitter. Shedinja is a third-generation bug/ghost-type Pokémon that's only available through convoluted means in the mainline games. It sounds poor you'll have to complete a series of research tasks in order to unlock a chance to capture Shedinja, which is a welcome change. Field Research tasks focusing on Bug-type Pokémon are coming this November!
