Pokemon Go's First 2019 Community Day Event Announced

As it stated in The latest Pokemon Go Community Day news for DecemberPokemon Go fans on Android and iOS have been catching special Pokemon left-right and centre this weekend. But that will all be coming to an end very soon as December's Pokemon Go Community Day completes its rewards cycle. Unlike past events, December's Community Day allows Trainers to catch all the different kinds of Pokemon outside of the usual three-hour period. But we're now coming to the end of the event, bringing to an end a whole year of Community Day rewards and bonuses. So if things go back to normal, we could hear about the January Community Day later this week.

A new month is just around the corner, which means Pokemon Go players have another Community Day to look forward to soon. Throughout the event, Totodile will spawn much more frequently in the wild than it normally does. Niantic has yet to reveal what this move is, but it will be announced closer to the Community Day. In addition to increased Totodile spawns, Niantic will offer a couple of bonuses during January's Community Day. POKEMON GO DECEMBER COMMUNITY DAY It has now been confirmed that December's Community Day will feature every Pokémon species from the last year. The biggest bonus of all will be all the returning Pokemon from the previous Community Day events. FIELD RESEARCH To collect Field Research tasks, Trainers have to spin the Photo Disc at nearby PokéStops, which allows for one Field Research task per PokéStop per day.
