All The New Gen 4 Evolutions Available Right Now In 'Pokémon GO'

according to Niantic just dropped another wave of new Gen 4 Pokémon into Pokémon GO, only this time things are a little bit different. None of these creatures have been released into the wild: they're all evolutions of earlier Pokémon that didn't arrive in the mainline games until Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, of which there are actually quite a few. We've already technically seen one such Pokémon in the form of Budzel, but that's a pre-evolution. Here are the evolutions currently spawning, credit as always to the tireless data collectors at Silph Road:Rhydon-RhyperiorMagmar-MagmortarElectabuzz-ElectivireMisdreavus-MismagusGligar-GliscorPorygon2-PorygonZMurkrow-HonchkrowSneasel-WeavileRoselia-RoseradeTogetic-TogekissDusclops-DusknoirNote that the following Pokémon do not yet evolve:Eevee-Leafeon/GlaceonAipomNosepassKirlia-GalladeLickitungMagnetonTangelaYanmaPiloswineSnorunt-FroslassAll of these new evolutions take 100 candies, and in the case of third-tier evolutions, the previous tier has been reduced to 25 candies. So, as an example, it will only take 25 candies to evolve a Duskull into a Dusclops.

How On Earth Did 'Pokémon GO' Make Almost $800 Million In 2018?

But a similarly impressive story is that Pokémon GO made $795 million in 2018, two years after its release, which represents a 35% jump from the year before. How in the world has Pokémon GO pulled this off? We've seen the launch of new generations of Pokémon, working our way up all the way to Gen 4 out of 7 now. There was plenty of cross-promotion with Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee as Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are finally leaning into Pokémon GO's success. Past that, as SerebiiNet points out, there were 31 events, 12 Community Days and 4 special raiding days in Pokémon GO in 2018, as opposed to 10 total events in 2017.

Here's A Massive List Of The Holiday Additions Coming To 'Pokémon GO' Very Soon

as mentioned in Pokémon GO has probably tripled its number of special events since this time last year, and for the holiday season, things are getting crazier than ever. Niantic has just released information about a ton of different new things coming to Pokémon GO for the holiday, so much so it's a bit hard to keep track of it all. Part of me which they all just stacked for the whole event, but that might be a bridge too far. Rarely a week goes by without some sort of special event, and when holidays roll around well, you get stuff like this, a massive list of special additions and big bonuses to keep players playing. You have a weekend of bird raiding to prepare you for the holiday event to come.
