The Pokemon Go Valentine's event was confirmed in the Pokemon Go newsletter on February 7. Bonuses, date and time for the Valentine's day event have now been confirmed. Pokemon Go Valentine's EventAs previously stated, and unsurprisingly so, the 2019 Valentine's event features several pink Pokemon. The Pokemon with increased spawns are from each of the first three generations of Pokemon, respectively. Consequently, the Valentine's event won't introduce any new gen 4 Pokemon directly.

Pokemon Go revenue is up 84% YoY as it earns $68m in January 2019

According to Sensor Tower (thanks, VentureBeat), that's up 84 per cent from January 2018, when Niantic made $37 million, and takes the game's total revenue to $2.3 billion. Japan continues to be the game's top territory, making up 35 per cent of its revenue. Unsurprisingly, Niantic's first implementation of the system was for Pokémon Go, helping players hatch eggs and earn candy without draining their phone batteries. Niantic also recently teamed up with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) to enhance global tourism and develop "innovative tourism experiences through real-world games".
