Pokémon GO Limited Research: How To Get Yourself A Shiny Clamperl

referring to Pokémon GO is back with another Limited Research day, a companion event to its hugely successful Community Days but with a different spin. I wasn't sure that this Limited Research day would actually be giving out a shiny Clamperl. As I said, it is a lot harder to hunt shinies during Limited Research events. But today, there are only so many research tasks you can hope to complete, making your potential shiny encounters limited. But Limited Research does come with other bonuses like increased water types spawning in the wild that give 2x Stardust when caught.

'Sinnoh Stone' -- Where To Get The 'Special Item' You Need To Evolve Pokémon in 'Pokémon GO'

The special item is called a "Sinnoh Stone," and it works similarly to the steel coats, sun stones, and other evolution items introduced with Gen 2. No matter which Pokémon you're evolving, you get it the same way: as a reward for a 7-day field research breakthrough. That means you need to complete one field research task a day for seven days, though they don't reset if you miss a day. Tying them to research breakthroughs represents a deviousness here that I appreciate. Between the research breakthroughs and the social pressures of sending gifts, I'm finding myself more addicted to this game than ever.

Some are saying that it's like the usual 1 in 20 for Community Day, others are saying it's closer to 1 in 60 or 1 in 70, based on survey data across larger groups. It feels like the shiny rate should be 10-15% at least, and if it really is 1 in 60+, that's just absurd. The Research Tasks Take Too Long10 Great Throws, 15 Nice Throws, Hatch an Egg. These research tasks took far longer than I was imagining and even if you can stack them, there's not a guarantee that you can stack them well, ie.
