AdvertisementThe answer is, like a lot of Detective Pikachu's Pokémon, a heady mix of "kind of petrifying" and "absolutely adorable." Maybe we'll have to wait for Detective Pikachu: Detective Pika-two to see Sobble and its new friends done up like this, but for now this is about as close as we're going to get to seeing what it could look like. Pokémon Sword And Shield's Starters Kinda Look Like Powerpuff Girls

As Twitter user Sazanami Salami points out, Scorbunny looks like Blossom, Sobble look Bubbles and Grookey looks like Buttercup. Sazanami Salami drew these Powerpuff images for comparison's sake.

Looks Like The Starter Evolutions Of Pokémon Sword And Shield Have Leaked

In case you've been living under a rock, far from the UK-inspired region of Galar, you should know that Grookey (Grass), Scorbunny (Fire) and Sobble (Water) are about to become your new favorite companions, as they are officially the three starter Pokémon of Sword and Shield. Well, wonder no more… for the eagle-eyed users of 4chan appear to have uncovered Poké intel which reveals Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble's respective evolutions. So it could well be that these evolutions are merely the product of a PhotoShop expert, but even so, they're pretty damn good. The water-spouting Pokémon appears to develop thick armor as it evolves, which actually aligns with previous rumors surrounding Pokémon Sword and Shield.
